Dear Alumni, Friends and Illini Family,
I-L-L! I-N-I!
Welcome to our new digital home – atlantaillini.com. This site is a forum for communicating information about the chapter and our events to members in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This site will also make it easy for you to find out what’s happening on campus. The UIAA has made these significant upgrades to their web hosting to better serve alumni and friends of the University of Illinois.Despite being 600 miles away from campus, the Atlanta Illini Club is here to help chapter members continue their lifelong Illini experience. In addition to Atlanta area alumni and their families, our chapter serves current students, parents, and families of students, as well friends and fans that live in the Atlanta area.
Our volunteer Board of Directors plans on working hard to keep the Illini spirit alive through a variety of new service and social events. Whether it’s football and basketball viewing parties, the Big Ten Picnic and Pub Crawl, networking events, entertainment events or scholarship distribution to local students, we want to provide the Atlanta Illini the opportunity to meet and have fun. Regardless of what your interests are, we hope to have something that will suit you. We are asking for feedback on what events you would like to have scheduled. We’ll work on scheduling an event that brings your love of Atlanta and University of Illinois together!If you are interested in suggesting, planning or helping with chapter activities, please email us at club@atlantaillini.com
We all have wonderful memories of our time in Champaign-Urbana…but we’re still creating new Illini memories in our own southern locale. If you’re an Illini we want to encourage you to get involved!
